National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we practice medicine on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Tsut’ina, the Stoney Nakoda Nations, the Metis Nation Region 3 and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region.
We commemorate September 30th as a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. In honour of survivors, their families and communities, we hope that you will join us in reflecting on the history and legacy of residential schools in Canada, and what you can do to achieve mutually respectful relationships between Indigenous and non-indigenous peoples. (Alberta Medical Association).
The Wild Rose Medical Centre will be open on Friday September 30th.
