Friday July 1st is our opportunity to celebrate our Nations National Holiday!

Canada 2022 marks the 155 anniversary of Confederation. The day when the Constitution Act consolidated three territories into the single nation of Canada in 1867.

Friday July 1st is our National Holiday to celebrate all we appreciate in Canada; as Canadians, as new Canadians and as those who are newly arrived in Canada.

Enjoy the day to reflect and celebrate with family and friends. The Wild Rose Medical Centre will be closed, and will reopen with regular business hours on Monday July 4, 2022. If you are in need of medical assistance please dial 811, or proceed to the Olds General Hospital and Care Centre.

It’s the May long weekend and the Wild Rose Medical Centre will be closed on Monday May 23rd. If you are in need of medical support please call 811, or visit the local Olds General Hospital Emergency Department where you will be seen.

Stay safe, stay warm and enjoy some Rest and Relaxation! The Wild Rose Medical Centre will reopen with regular business hours on Tuesday May 24th.

The Wild Rose Medical Centre will be closed on Friday April 15th, and will be open with regular business hours on Monday April 18th.

The Wild Rose Medical Centre will be following the protocol of all AHS facilities, and will be continuing to REQUIRE MASK wearing in the clinic. (Medical masks are highly recommended). This decision has been made to protect those needing care and services at our clinic and our healthcare workers.

Patients seeking or receiving care are more vulnerable than the general population and outbreaks in such settings have a serious impact on patient outcomes and our ability to deliver medical services. The is step is an additional safeguard to protect both patients and our healthcare workers.

Research shows that a simple act of writing down three things you are thankful for at the end of the day makes a big difference to our own mental health. So, tonight as you are climbing in to bed write down the first three things that come to your mind that you are thankful for. Keep a journal, and watch it grow!

The omicron variant is very contagious and is moving quickly throughout our world, including our community. The Wild Rose Medical Centre strongly encourages the wearing of medical grade masks when attending the clinic to see your health care provider.

Vaccinations including getting a booster shot, social distancing, wearing of medical grade masks, and good hand washing practices are all key activities which we can do to support the health and well being of our community.

The Wild Rose Medical Centre will be Closed on Friday December 24, 2021, and on Monday December 27, 2021 to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The clinic will close at 12:00 noon on Friday December 31, 2021, and will be closed on January 3, 2022 to celebrate New Years.
