The Wild Rose Medical Centre will be closed on Friday November 11, 2022 to recognize the men and women of our nation who have given so much, and for those who are continuing to serve for our freedom.

A local ceremony in Olds will be held at the Ralph Klein Centre at 10:15 a.m.

Regular clinic hours will ressume on Monday November 14, 2022.

Fall is upon us, and we will be celebrating our Thanksgiving on Monday October 10, 2022.

The Wild Rose Medical Centre will be closed for all of us to appreciate the bounty of the harvest, and all the good things that we are thankful for in our lives. We wish all of our patients and community members a safe holiday weekend. The Wild Rose Medical Centre will reopen with regular business hours on Tuesday October 11, 2022.

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we practice medicine on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Tsut’ina, the Stoney Nakoda Nations, the Metis Nation Region 3 and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region.

We commemorate September 30th as a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. In honour of survivors, their families and communities, we hope that you will join us in reflecting on the history and legacy of residential schools in Canada, and what you can do to achieve mutually respectful relationships between Indigenous and non-indigenous peoples. It is always a bitter sweet when we announce the Labor Day Holiday.

Ashley will be joining both the Administration and Clinical groups at the clinic. Listen for her on the phone, and look for her next time you are in! Welcome Ashley, we are thrilled to have you with us!

The Wild Rose Medical Centre requires masks to be worn while in the clinic facility.

To protect our patients many of whom are vulnerable, with concerning medical conditions, to protect our staff and to protect our physicians, who work at numerous venues in our community, it is important.

We appreciate you, and thank you for honouring our clinic policy.

We have enjoyed having Dr. Maria Lee in Olds for 7 years. She has been a valuable team member servicing the Olds Hospital, the three Seniors Clinics, the Olds College and the main Wild Rose Medical Centre clinic.

Dr. Lee will not be returning to Olds following her maternity leave ending in October.

We wish Dr. Lee and her family the very best.
